The Asylum Seeker Support Trust (ASST) is Aotearoa’s only dedicated organisation supporting people seeking asylum. Since 1989, we’ve been helping individuals and families who arrive here seeking safety to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

We provide essential support such as food, housing, transport, advocacy and information, and community connection — all designed to help people not just survive but thrive in their new home.
